HP Insight Foundation Suite for ProLiant products deliver an easy to use set of tools designed to address any set-up scenario in addition to standard installer support for HP ProLiant 300 series servers and above. The Insight Foundation Suite contains the software you need to install, configure and manage HP ProLiant servers.

HP Insight Software products help you unlock your infrastructure’s potential with HP’s easy-to-use integrated server management software. HP Insight Software consists of two major components:

• HP Insight Control which is essential server management that unlocks the management capabilities built into your HP ProLiant servers. Insight Control delivers powerful capabilities that enable you to proactively manage ProLiant server health - whether physical or virtual, deploy and migrate ProLiant servers quickly, optimize power consumption, and control ProLiant servers from anywhere.



• HP Insight Dynamics which is advanced infrastructure lifecycle management software which allows you to instantly adjust to dynamic business demands – provision and modify a complex infrastructure in minutes.

The HP Insight Foundation Suite ships standard with HP ProLiant ML and DL 300, 500, 700 BTO servers and as an orderable option on CTO servers. For BladeSystem c-Class servers, the Insight Foundation Suite for ProLiant Software kit is available for blade enclosures, not for individual servers, as an orderable CTO option. No license keys or entitlement certificates are needed for using Insight Foundation Suite on HP ProLiant servers.

Insight Foundation suite keeps systems up-to-date, and its products are available as downloads as well as for CTO purchase. These tools and utilities provide management solutions that are designed to simplify a server's installation, configuration, and maintenance throughout the entire server life-cycle and provide customers with higher levels of operational efficiency and highly reliable solutions. HP Systems Insight Manager

HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) forms the core of HP Converged Infrastructure Management, which centralizes management, control, and administration of the systems in IT infrastructures and data centers. Beyond its foundational capabilities, HP SIM is designed to be extended through Insight Control and Insight Dynamics, sold separately.
