HP ProLiant Updates Catalog for Microsoft System Center

The HP ProLiant Updates Catalog for Microsoft System Center enables IT administrators to use Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to automatically manage and distribute HP ProLiant server software and firmware from the HP Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP).

The HP ProLiant Updates Catalog leverages the predictable cadence of software and firmware provided by the HP Service Pack for ProLiant.

This catalog is registered in the standard Microsoft third party Partner Catalog List as "HP ProLiant Updates Catalog" and can be selected in System Center Updates Publisher (SCUP). The HP ProLiant Updates Catalog will be updated with each major release of the HP Service Pack for ProLiant.

Note: The HP ProLiant Updates Catalog replaces the Hewlett-Packard Server Updates Catalog (which is based upon the HP ProLiant Support Pack or PSP). Customers should begin using the HP ProLiant Updates Catalog. The two catalogs can coexist in both SCUP and SCCM. The Hewlett-Packard Server Updates Catalog will freeze functionality in mid-2012 and will not be updated after that time.
