Introduction

With up to 8.5-GB (Double Layer) of storage per-disc (up to 12 times the storage capacity of a CD-ROM), the HP PATA DVD-ROM Drive can read from industry standard DVD media at speeds of up to 16X (up to 21,600 KB/s). The HP PATA DVD-ROM Drive also reads CD media at speeds of up to 48X (up to 7,200 KB/s) and features the added capability of reading single layer or dual layer DVD media.

Compatibility

The HP PATA DVD-ROM Drive is compatible with HP Compaq Business Desktop dx2200 and dx2250 series PCs and the HP rp5000 Point of Sale system. Not all models available in all regions.

Service and Support

Your Option Limited Warranty is a one (1) year (HP Option Limited Warranty Period) parts replacement warranty on any HP-branded or Compaq-branded options (HP Options). If your HP Option is installed in an HP Hardware Product, HP may provide warranty service either for the HP Option Limited Warranty Period or the remaining Limited Warranty Period of the HP Hardware Product in which the HP Option is being installed, whichever period is the longer but not to exceed three (3) years from the date you purchased the HP Option.
