| Introduction |
| The HP USB 1.44-MB External Diskette Drive is a double-sided micro diskette disk drive featuring simple one-cable connection via a USB interface cable. The USB drive has three write and read modes and automatically detects loaded media. The USB drive is both Plug and Play and Hot Plug capable. |

| The USB drive writes and reads 1.44-MB media and transfers data at a rate of 500 Kbps. It provides easy, hot-swap installation, making it unnecessary to restart the computer after connection. |

If your HP Option is installed in an HP Hardware Product, HP may provide warranty service either for the HP Option Limited Warranty Period or the remaining Limited Warranty Period of the HP Hardware Product in which the HP Option is being installed, whichever period is the longer but not to exceed three (3) years from the date you purchased the HP Option. |
