The ATI® Radeon™ 7500 AGP graphics accelerator module
is a single expansion slot, 32-bit AGP bus graphics option that
provides 2D and 3D (requires 3D license) graphics acceleration
for Alpha workstations and servers running OpenVMS or Tru64 UNIX. The drivers are developed and supported
by the
Hewlett Packard Company.
Overview
The RADEON 7500 AGP graphics controller offers superior 2D and
affordable 3D graphics capability. The module is based on ATI’s
RV200 graphics chip .The card is capable of 24-bit true color resolution
at 2048 X 1536. The Tru64 UNIX and OpenVMS drivers support a wide
range of resolutions and refresh rates up to 2048 X 1536@75Hz.
Performance
The RADEON 7500 AGP graphics controller incorporates 64 MB of
memory in a single short ATX form factor AGP card. This product
has shown an outstanding 2D performance of 70+ Xmarks (in 8 bit
per pixel mode) on a 1.0 GHZ CPU Alpha system
