AlphaServer ES40 Cluster Base System is preconfigured, preloaded,
and fully tested, designed to offer customers a full-function
AlphaServer cluster with reduced risk. The base system is
orderable with a single part number, but can easily be customized
to meet specific needs with options such as additional storage
and memory.
Everything is included to get you started. The system is
application ready and preloaded with your choice of
Tru64 UNIX and TruCluster
Server V5.1
software, or
OpenVMS High Availability Cluster Software (v 7.2-1).
System resilience, 24 x 7 availability, dynamic load balancing,
easy addition of nodes, and proven system management tools
are a few of the standard features.
