Software Releases
System Management Console [SMC] kits are orderable at no charge to AlphaServer GS SMC customers. The SMC Kit  releases are listed from the most recent to the oldest.

Kit Part Number: QB-74YAA-CA - Windows 2000 upgrade kit for NT SMC ENCM and ENL P1.0G PC. Click here to get the images.
V4.0 download Kit Part Number: QB-6K4AB-SA.
Adds ability to manage multiple ASGS systems from a single SMC. 
V3.2 * download Update to the Compaq AlphaServer Partition Manager (CAPM).
* SMC V3.1 must already be on the SMC system before V3.2 can be installed. On the desktop, click on the version icon on to verify SMC version 3.1 is installed.
V3.1 * download
 		 Kit Part Number: QB-6NQAA-SA
Installs Compaq AlphaServer Partition Manager (CAPM) and updates other applications.
* SMC V3.0 must already be on the SMC system before V3.1 can be installed. On the desktop, click on the version icon on to verify SMC version 3.1 is installed.
V3.0 download Kit Part Number: QB-6K4AA-SA.
Installs ConsoleWorks and other applications.
Important: Read all installation instructions before starting an update. The procedures must be performed exactly as presented in the instructions.
For P500 / P650 users - To upgrade to Windows 2000, SMC Kit 4.0B Kit must be ordered to accommodate Window 2000 License requirements.

Self-executing Utility		 Notes
Patch Apply this ConsoleWorks certificate expiration patch if your browser displays Java runtime errors or there are problems with the telnet application after June 22 2002, apply this patch. Some ConsoleWorks Java files are signed with a certificate that expired June 22 2002
Expunge *

 

 Run this utility if ConsoleWorks takes a long time to start or won't start at all, it may be due to a large number of unacknowledged events. Dismiss the events and shrink ConsoleWork's default.config file by running this utility.
* Expunge is included in the SMC V4.0 package
Mail.pl * If mail notification from ConsoleWorks doesn't work with the Exchange 2000 mail server, replacing Mail.pl should solve the problem.
* Mail.pl is included  the SMC V4.0 package

Documentation
The documentation contains information on hardware installation and software configuration for the System Management Console [SMC]. It includes instructions for using ConsoleWorks, CAPM and troubleshooting information.

Release notes contain installation instructions for the specified release.
