The procedure for disk1.zip is to update SRM,SROM,RMC and TIG firmware only.

  1. Extract disk1 to a FAT-formatted floppy diskette
  2. Insert floppy diskette into the floppy drive.
  3. Remove any CD-ROM from the CD-Drive
  4. Type lfu at the SRM Console prompt. The LFU utility is invoked and displays a message that option firmware files were not found on CD or floppy. The LFU prompts for a device name where the firmware files are located.
  5. Type dva0 to select the floppy device name and to load the firmware files to memory.
The LFU starts to read the floppy disk then displays the firmware-files .txt file. (ES45FW.TXT)
  6. Press the Enter key to select the default file.
The LFU displays firmware file names as they are read from floppy diskette. The LFU prompt is displayed after all the files are read from floppy diskette.
  7. Type exit then Y to get to LFU manual mode
  8. Type list to verify the firmware files were successfully loaded in memory.
  9. Type update to update all firmware.
  10. Type " exit" to leave the LFU and return to the console SRM prompt.

Power cycle the system if TIG firmware has changed.
